What's Keyforrest Autocad 2018 Not Working?And now it is 30 dollars cheaper. Maybe I’ll forgive the misrepresentation with a credit of 30 dollars to my account. Finally got around to installing this. The activation key is smudged. I really tried hard to switch from macosx to this, since their immense screwup with macbook pro line. Though, microsoft really doesn’t want customers. Appears to be genuine but it’s a European version… the language is European English, NOT American English! If you can get past that, it seems to work fine, activates and does updates. It took me forever to realize the activation key was under the scratch-off foil on the COA sticker. I tried the code. It didn’t work. The look and feel of the Os are subject par and in many ways mirror windows 8. Windows 10 is very much tied to Microsoft and literally pushes content in front of your face. By default there is literally no privacy. Everything you do is monitored. Ms can even remove software or report you if you are deemed to be in violation of copyright. Read the agreement before you use it. The there is a reason they are giving this away. Don’t waste the money go apple or linux. After reading several reviews i was pretty worried about the authentication code, scraped off the silver stuff very carefully , it came off with no issues.
Removing the sticker removed the product key. Without that, I can’t activate Windows. Let me start by saying I have ordered OEM discs from keyforrest before for new system build without any issues. Each one comes up with the key has been used on another device.
The only change here is that there is more of it. Looks, generally, like Win 8.x, but with new additions and some new restrictions. As is typical, this will take some getting used to. Apple is the same way, but possibly more so. I haven’t seen anything in Win10 that I find I need, and probably should have stayed with Win8.1, but here I am. It’s probably better for gaming and such, but that’s a waste of time, for me, as I have better things to do. I had heard that Win10 has better 3D printing capability and/or interaction, but I haven’t seen evidence of that. I have found that I’m having more failures with my graphics locking up and causing the need to re-boot more often than in Win8.1, and I have the latest drivers for my video card. This happened only very, very rarely in Wn8.1 so I can only hope that new drivers come out for my video card or Win10 has an update that takes care of the problem. In any case, it doesn’t happen all that often. Windows has made some bad choices in the past, with β€œVistaβ€ coming to mind. Windows 10 learned from the past and took the best of each and made an Operating System that looks and works great.The USB Option is the same prices as the download. This one is better as it comes with a full retail license. Can be used to install on a blank system without the need for a bootable drive. The cheaper Windows 10 options are not supported by Microsoft. You may be out of luck if you have a compatibility or corruption error later on. I just want it to boot to Win 10. Haven’t figured out how to change that either. Would certainly appreciate any suggestions on these two issues. Since when does a full OEM version of Microsoft software not come with a product key / COA sticker? The program installed, but I’m not going to be a happy camper if I end up having to shuck out more money to activate this program. I suggest anyone reading keyforrest reviews deciding whether to purchase Windows 10 or not should go read some ACTUAL reviews from known tech sites and professional IT people. They paint a clearer picture as to the pros and cons of this OS without the ranting.As for my humble opinion regarding Windows 10, it is a worthy upgrade, and its FREE if you have 7 or 8.
