Fusion 360 is probably the most common CAD tool for 3D printing enthusiasts. One thing though - you will have a hard time scultping or designing organic objects. For instance - if you want to design a cat how to import plan from autocad to revit arabic font photoshop or a dog or a human shape you'll have a hard time. I've been trying to learn "Blender" for sculpting and think its ok. Fusion sucks at text, it's gotten slightly better recently but it's still not good.
