Picking Keyforrest Autocad 2018 Not Working Is SimpleBottom line, My fault and I will retain the unused product for future backup possibilities but can’t install on the Compaq Presario I wanted to upgrade. Guess it will eventually die a useless death with XP. My daughter got a computer from her grandfather. She wants to play Wizard 101 with her brother. In order to install Norton 360 (who wants to go online without protection?), I had to upgrade to Windows 10. This free, old computer has Windows Vista. Buy Windows 10 on a USB and install it, right? The manual that came with Windows 10 was more concerned with its parts being a choking hazard than with telling me how to install it. Oh, if you have Vista you have to boot it from the start menu. Restart it and then access the root menu. It is still not installed after two hours, which I consider completely ridiculous. I am spending more time researching computer science nonsense than the medical research I should be doing for my actual job. I know it sounds horrible, but I do not have room in my brain for this. I am the type of person that likes to plug things in, follow picture directions, and have things WORK. I have too much going on in my life and too many complicated procedures at work, the electronics at my life should magically work without my thinking about them too much. If you are like me and you have Vista, do not do it this way. If I somehow figure it out, I will post an addendum to this. It’s windows on a USB flash drive. Attach to computer, install it, remove the flash drive and keep safe. A lot of work on the level of editing system policy. Registry which only computer-savvy users can accomplish. One can block servers which Microsoft uses to spy on you on your home router. Plan on a wasted day of working on it. Plan on a day of cursing Microsoft. Plan on a day of wondering why did you not switch to Mac or Linux yet. Plan to thinking β€this OS sucks but I can sort of get used to it and tolerate itβ€.Microsoft makes a good version of Windows, free of data collection, Cortana, and bloatware. It is called Enterprise edition, but it is not available to retail customers. It is only available to corporate customers who cannot accept any leaks of data outside of their corporate network. Windows 7 remains a better (more user-friendly) OS than Windows 10. Only issue was a Microsoft problem. The Disk would only install Windows 10 Home.
Thank you very much for sending the key ahead of time. Seemed to think it lived in Great Britain. Windows 10 Pro meets all my expectations for a Microsoft operating system. Typical Microsoft install took more than 5 tries to get one to work. Exactly as described. Does what I need. I put this on a new build because my Uni requires 10 Pro for some of the software we use. Thank god Microsoft started listening to their customers and went back to basics. Looks like I should have found someone that didn’t have a bogus key. I was shipped Windows Home 64 instead of Pro 64 as advertised, and the media disk was corrupted. Ordered this through a third party seller, V&C. Installed in box build. Works as it should. No licensing issues. All updates install perfectly. All you get is the product key, no software. You can get the same thing including software from Microsoft for the same amount or less. And, once you buy it, it is yours forever, No refunds, no returns since it;s digital. Feeling foolish. Taken advantage of. Microsoft has gotten terribly bold. The EULA for this product is blood-chilling. If you’re fine with being spied on every day in every way, stick with Microsoft. I would recommend Linux or BSD for those who wish to control their own PCs. Really, read the End-User License Agreement instead of clicking through it blindly. The version of Windows 10 Pro that I received was older version and had none of the updates, but for the price that I got it for was worth the little extra trouble to down
