Plus it is trying to be an iPad / tablet OS running on a PC and just simply misses by miles. I reformatted the hard drive and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit; far superior OS and all the Microsoft software actually works. I was under the gun last weekend to upgrade a customer PC from WIN 10 HOME to WIN 10 Pro. I bought the software here, downloaded it and installed. It included a good product code to keep it all legal. I was half-expecting this to be a bogus license based on the low price, but it appears to be a genuine MS licence. It took maybe half an hour to receive their email If you’re just upgrading from win10Home to Pro, you don’t need to go through the download ISO / burn to media steps that you’ll be emailed. Simply open Settings, Update & Security, Activation, change ProductKey and that’s it. Windows will download the few updates it needs. However, product key would not activate as it has already been used by another computer!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed on the refund as I had already removed Product Key sticker and adhered to the back of my case and now the sticker is destroyed after trying to remove from case. I have used it on numerous computers. Teach classes on its use. It is a little infuriating why Microsoft wants to always move the location of things with each OS update.Mostly I wanted to write this to answer the question of the product key. If you look at the picture of the label it says OEM. That is original equipment manufacture.
Runs well, looks good and has been stable. After initial install, Microsoft did not accept the license as genuine, even though I only installed it once. I took a chance. It did not pay off for me. Product Key will not work on clean install. I have a worthless copy that cost $120. Windows 7 works fine. Most of my games work great on it. And despite me future proofing my computer to a degree it still runs like crap despite meeting the requirements. It’d get 2 stars if Microsoft didn’t push it on me like viruses. Malware pushed credit card fishing stuff back in the 90s to early 00s. I cannot find anywhere how to get the download to install. I have gone to Microsoft. Not getting anywhere. Please let me know what procedure to use to have results. I do not know what thickness or sheerness have to do with software. What I do know is that it worked. It took a long time to download the up to Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro. Next time I will go for a disk. Finish downloading on line. It installs without Bsod it’s Windows. Had a good key..it gets a 4 star because I don’t like upgrading to a new OS..it gets a 4 star because I don’t like upgrading to a new OS. I needed an OS for my first computer. Was looking around different websites for the best deal on Windows 10. This was the best deal I could find but i was a bit worried after reading the reviews of people saying they received copies with used activation keys. I decided to try this anyway when it went on special and it worked fine. The box was properly sealed and the USB stick was detected as soon as it was put into the pc. Installation was easy. The activation code worked fine. After a load of updates, it is windows after all, it was up to date and ready to go. I am quite satisfied with the product, how simple it was to install, and the fact that I paid only half the price I would have paid anywhere else. Got this on a one day Sunday delivery option for only $3.99 extra. I had been trying to clone an old hard drive for a Lenovo K450 unsuccessfully after three days. Once the decision to reload windows 10 home on a new SSD drive was made this appeared to be the best solution. Took about 20 minutes to install the new 500GB Samsung SSD . All this after wa
