Kudos to keyforrest to replacing it for me BUT key advice - buy directly from MS and they will lookup the key for you. They will not do this if not bought directly from them. Had my IT friend even look at it. I called Microsoft, they said I need a new key code. This one is already used or a fake as it won’t register with their system. They said it is a korean key code.

It gave this message the first time I tried to use the code, and I made sure that I was using the exact code provided in the software packaging. I love the Windows 10 software, but I had some troubles with setting it up, which is the reason I am leaving only a three-star review. The initial setup went well, though it took a long time since I was using a USB 2.0 disc drive to install it. I contacted Microsoft asking them what the error was for. They said that the key was error. Thankfully, I can return the product to keyforrest in which I will just purchase it straight from Microsoft. Concur with the many reviewers that this is bogus software being sold. I verified this with a Microsoft online support when I gave him the product key. First time I’ve seen this with keyforrest.
If you can’t figure out how to install and use it then learn how to.Basically don’t give the OS a bad review if it could be another issue besides the OS. Now back to the OS review…This is a good OS compared to Windows 8. They made it super user friendly, however by doing that they locked up a lot of things you used to been able to change. If you don’t want Windows 10 then get Windows 7. If you’re upset at everything then get Mac and give up all your geek credit.
It’s a Windows product; what can anyone say to anyone else about it? It’s a matter of getting used to a new OS. If it’s like always, as soon as I get used to it they’ll have two or three Gens after it that I have to upgrade to for support reasons. Shoddy, these advertise as version 1703, but this disc is as old as ~2015 build which has made my Ryzen build an absolute hell. Do yourself a favor and order right from Microsoft or a reputable manufacturer.Good luck.
Windows 10 Home 64Bit CD was received in timely manner. Unfortunately CD didn’t work. After several attempts to have Windows 10 set-up to run. Finally got until the activation page. However activation status never got higher than 0% executed.
If I’d have known I’d have downloaded it rather than asking for the box. Honestly what’s the bloody point in offering a physical item if you’re not going to include the software on media?!! Office is Office, it works fine. The method of delivery is down right infuriating.
