New A few ideas Into Best 3d Mouse For Fusion 360 Autodesk Student Autocad 2017 Never Before UnmaskedInterested in other users opinion on roll wheel comfort. Deathadder Elite is very uncomfortable on roll prickling into fingers. Other issue with CAD is whether other people found weighted mice better for fine work.
Can’t say I didn’t predict this would happen. F360 still exports like 10 formats, a bunch of which are read by other software like solidworks. However Add-Ins and scripts are still supported in personal, and there are free DXF export and other options available. I’m in one of the last few purchasable versions of Adobe creative suite. It’s crashed out whenever you close it for years, and I now can’t update my OS or it won’t run. I get your sentiment, but unfortunately if you spent 4K on a package and didn’t use it for years, you’d likely find it won’t run on a modern & secure OS. It would be great if these sorts of scenarios didnt exist. If I bought a Maserati and couldnt get it serviced AT THE DEALERSHIP 6 years later…Id go nuts. 3dsystems calls a 6 year old machine a TRADE IN. I have two lathes, CNC mill, manual mill, CNC plasma, two 3D printers … many thousands of dollars have been spent on them, but there is no endless monthly fee on them. Also these things have re-sell value, unlike software. But for hobby I’d rather pay $4k for even a limited package but I would not pay $150/month for full access Onshape, using those companies/products/prices just as an example. I’m grateful that Rhino hasn’t followed the subscription trend. And you’ll also be surprised how little software these days β€only works in Windowsβ€. Quickly create physical prototypes to validate prior to manufacturing. Build 3D printed parts using additive manufacturing in Fusion 360. Connect to a library of 3D printing machines including Ultimaker, EOS, and Renishaw. Leverage your shop's multi-axis capabilities with straightforward positional 5-axis programming that will significantly reduce machine setup time between operations. Quickly set up jobs and generate toolpaths to machine quality parts while reducing wear on your tools with fully integrated CAM, including 2.5 and 3-axis operations. Extend the CAM capabilities of Fusion 360 with more advanced manufacturing technologies, including 5-axis programming, toolpath optimization, process automation, on-machine verification, and more. My favorite features are user experience and speed. Design something and then build it in a day, whereas previously it might have taken a week. Fusion 360 is the only tool that connects the entire product development process into a single CAD/CAM/CAE cloud-based platform. It provides all the support you need as you guide your students in advancing their engineering and manufacturing skills. It lets you pan/zoom/rotate all at the same time. It only took a few days to really get used to it. The basic one has two buttons which can be programmed to do various things, like zoom all. I've got the travel version. Use a two button mouse with it as well. The travel version is a bit smaller than the normal version. Yes, the 3D Space Connexion mouse is what I've been looking for. Honestly, I don't want to look back and prefer having a mouse that makes it a lot easier on my hand for navigating around the 3D environment. The 3 button mouse works but it is a bit hard on my hand. I know I don't do anywhere close to the amount of stuff you pros do but if it will make my life easier I'm all for it. The mouse looks oddly spherical but I find really comfortable. What I really like is the separation of the number input which I put on the left and use for number entry.
