Glad to say that on Windows 10 there is not much to do, other than to turn off some items regarding privacy and adds. I don’t like the use of app store and the fact that Microsoft auto-updates apps like photo and contacts. I like to use my own and prefer to keep those on a separate device so they won’t be comprised. I do love Windows Defender and security options, finally I don’t have to buy a separate Anti-Virus tool, I can just run Malware bytes periodically. The product code was already used when I punched it into the computer, but Windows 10 installed fine. I’m just stuck with an un-activated windows 10 now which works like the full version except it has a watermark at the bottom right which can be disabled for a while but it comes back.
I also have to state that I am not a big fan of Microsoft, but what other reasonable choice is there, key word reasonable. If you think MS is bad just get your hands on an Apple It is like the Borg and the Evil Empire, both are way tooooo proud of their products. Buy, if this right for you, and enjoy. Worked for a few months then started getting notifications that I needed to activate windows, after attempting to activate windows with my product key I’m told my key is invalid. Talking to Microsoft was absolutely useless but keyforrest fulfilled a refund 5 months after I bought this product. After doing more research I noticed some security measures were missing and I actually had a fake disc AND fake coa sticker. I could not get this to install on my laptop. The vendor went out of his way to help me. If you want a Window 10 install, look at this vendor.
That is companies like Lenovo and Dell. They get the software for approx 1/3 of the price that it is being sold for on keyforrest. That means that someone at one of those companies has taken a bunch of software and stolen it. Less than a day later. It feels like a brand new computer. Will also be upgrading RAM memory tomorrow. Seems like I could have made one of these thumb drives myself, but now I have a newer genuine serial number . Could not have had an easier experience.
