Before It's Too Late what to do About Keyforrest Autocad 2018 Not WorkingIts sooo fast and I didnt even need to use any disk drivers for a fresh install. I had to install nonactivated Windows 10 Pro, for this to work. Still got an error that was solved by a restart/windows update.Could not use this with nonactivated Windows Home.Took way to long for me to activate. In my opinion the best OS released by Microsoft easy install. Great features on the OS and has been running great for about a year on my custom built desktop. USB was corrupt. Would blue screen the computer. Had to create my own installer on a jump drive and just use the code. Which defeated the purpose of ordering this. I recommend to use your own usb. Purchase the code separately. Just to give others a warning, If you tear the shrink wrap around this package before returning it, it will be considered open software, and you will not get most of your refund. I was not aware of this when I decided to go with a different version of windows, and now am now out over a hundred bucks. I wish they would have made this more clear before I returned it. Let this serve as a warning to anyone who buys this and then changes their mind. Rating this two stars so it will stand out from all the usual windows hate. I am very upset because I specifically ordered the USB version so I would not have to make my own boot up usb.
But the included key is useless. The activation key is hidden by a scratch off area label. The scratch off label wasn’t positioned correctly, and after scratching it occluded two sections of the activation code. Support from Microsoft on this issue is hidden behind a $499 incident report paywall. After spending a few hours trying to guess the illegible characters I finally gave up. I didn’t even end up using the disk that came with it.I am not sure why there are so many review that claim that the software key does not work well. Perhaps there is a small chance that this could happen but hopefully they would give you your money back.I used this key to install Windows 10 on my MacBook Pro 2017 using Apple’s Bootcamp tool. It didn’t take too long. Was very easy to install. It is clearly stated that a Requirement is that you have Windows 10 Home, not any other version of Windows.
I used Windows 7 up until recently, so there had been some learning curve delays, but not too steep. Overall it has been pretty stable. I’m satisfied with it. I use Google Chrome instead of their new β€Microsoft Edgeβ€ browser.I should note that the integrated mail program meshed with my preexisting Office 360 Outlook in the background, but IT’S BUGGY!! I still haven’t solved all of my issues. The problem surfaced when I upgraded my system to Windows 10 (not a β€clean install’) so I’m hoping this installation on my new system will help once I transfer the Office 360 license to this computer. I’ve been dragging my feet on that, avoiding the struggle I anticipate will accompany the move. Bought this item before reading the negative reviews. When I read several, I was worried that the code would not work. After building my new system, I installed the Win 10 Pro x64 version. Not having an optical drive on the new computer, I used an old Win 10 Pro x64 USB thumb drive installer.Everything loaded as expected, and the code worked the first time. Once the new machine connected to the Internet, the OS activated automatically. OS is now fully updated and current.Would definitely buy this again if I needed it. Like many others, I received an activation key that Windows reported as already having been used. The actual distributor, Y&J Distribution, has multiple pieces of feedback regarding bad keys, all struck out with a β€we take responsibility for this fulfillment experienceβ€ note from keyforrest. I don’t know how providing duped keys could be a fulfillment issue, but whereve
