Windows Server 2016 StandardI don’t understand why people are giving this so many hate. All you have to do is a clean install. And do NOT use express settings. Using that only downloads a bunch of stuff you don’t really want.
However, I have not been able to convince all my customers to switch… yet. I honestly believe Microsoft’s reign is coming to an end. I would not be surprised to see them file bankruptcy within the next few years. However, I cannot activate Windows with the product key provided. I used it at assist reinstalled a system image from another drive but starting on the CD. Hitting ESC to get the system image to load to my computer. However the system image was incomplete. I needed to update several times to get a complete system. Am regretting it ever since I’ve gotten it. Has WAAY too many issues with updates, a lot of the time leaving the PC completely unusable. First time having to buy windows individually… More expensive than I expected… But this is the gold standard of OS, so just make life easy on yourself. Not sure why there are so many poor reviews.
Don’t buy this product unless you have a system builders license with Microsoft. This doesn’t come with a COA or a product key. I had to call Microsoft and ask them what was going on and they informed me about the license issue with this product. I installed Windows how to import plan from autocad to revit import rhino material types via USB onto a new rig but purchased a key using the CD option through keyforrest. Type in code and done.I cannot speak to the effective of the CD itself nor other peoples’ codes but I had no issue with the product itself. Parcel received quickly and all in tact.
Win 10 Home did not activate … windows activation server reported that the product key has exceeded its unlock limit. Don’t like this version AT ALL because of all the automatic functions it tries to run without operator input. It runs ok, but the machine it is installed on will NEVER ever hear the word internet, much less experience a connection. Forget those ruinous surreptitious updates that scramble stuff…This OS makes me seriously consider learning Linux. Wanted this product to use alongside Parallels on an apple mac, but cannot use it because windows 10 cannot connect to the internet. β€œReviewed the fixesβ€ but none of them work. Now I cant make out what I think is the last 2 groups of the code.
