Friendly on returning the item. It arrived on time, installed fine but the product key was already used about a month ago which bugs me and new keys go for about $119 on the store app. It’s surprising that keyforrest allow dodgy merchants to sell OEM versions of Windows. Even Windows on a flash drive without a product key or a product key that has already been used. The install itself was easy enough. Pretty standard procedure.I’m not a power user, so i cannot go into specific technicalities.I’ve been a Windows user my whole life. If you’ve used windows before, this will have a similar look.I would have gladly installed 7 if giving the choice between 10 and 7. Download was easy. Very straight forward. Just follow the instructions. I did have an issue with the word section once installed. I contacted Microsoft. The problem was resolved very quickly. It was probably my fault, not being really great with computers.I can recommend the product without hesitation.
I like Microsoft receiving my error message but must they know and sell my goings to and from web sites. I think they kind of over step on privacy, and one can op out but you lose functions. It a shame that Microsoft has sold it’s dignity from a profit. Easy to installed I am not used to using this OS just yet. Windows install disk…don’t know what you expect. Security Essentials has Defender beat. Microsoft edge is not much different than Internet Explorer. Windows 7 appears to be where the folks a Microsoft peaked. Windows 10 key didn’t work for me. The OS itself is another matter. Deserves maybe 2 stars… Needed for the old mans PC which was registered to me. Looking at these reviews i was praying i didnt get one where the activation key was already used but i had no issues. I get a message saying this product key has been used on another device, and it says to buy a genuine copy of Windows. The photo is the message I received.
