If your thinking about trying to β€˜save money’. Buy something cheaper on another site like ebay then you probably should not do that. So, save your money and buy Windows OEM software an keyforrest. I don’t get the hate for Windows 10.
I truly wonder whether advanced PC games that use DirectX 12 will be better. I moved my 93 year old father from Win 7 to Win 10 and he has adapted to it well AFTER I changed a lot of settings to make it look and feel like Win 7. Pair it with an SSD and this thing loads up very quickly. Arrived on time. Works wonderfully. Does the job, great to have a program instead of a download. What can I say about Windows 10 except that you either love it or hate it. I work in an IT department. Have since XP dropped back in the day. I, personally, like Windows 10 and prefer it when I’m not using a Linux flavor. The best OS that Microsoft released was XP, Win 7 was a close second… and I like Windows 10 more than either of those.
No, I’m not spending another $100 because Microsoft can’t keep track of codes being used. Assuming you get a copy that is legitimate, Windows 10 is personally my favorite version since XP. Ever since I installed Windows 10 I have had nothing but issues. Blue Screens, Internet connection issues, you name it.
Had an error with the activation code and a quick call with microsoft and everything was fine. Great OS would reccomend an SSD if you’re building a new pc. Was wary ordering this product , as the cost was much cheaper than the rest of the Office software I had browsed. I needn’t have been worried, I had the code sent to me literally less than an hour after purchase, download was swift and the instructions easy to follow. Hey presto, Word, Excel and Powerpoint appeared on my desktop. I have just finished building a new PC. Still need to use MS Office from time-to-time.
Finally made the switch from Windows 7 - had to make some tweaks, but all in all it’s not a terrible experience. If I come across anything particularly good or bad I’ll update this review. The UI is definitely different coming over from a Win 7 machine, but the OS does a decent enough job. I’m not convince this is a genuine Microsoft product. Due to all the problems with it I returned it to keyforrest for a refund. I have since bought from a different seller on keyforrest and installed it and so far no problems and it appears to be genuine. To be honest I’m not sure if its the product or my new Seagate HD which caused the problem. I have since returned both products to keyforrest. I was So happy today I my order in great shape. I did as they said and used my nail 1st then a penny to scratch off my activation code.
Software is good but expensive considering free or low cost alternatives. Only bought as wanted compatibility with work PC’s. If I only used it at home I would have used a non microsoft product. It’s a sleek OS. I’m happy with it. Real and legitimate Windows 10 OEM 64 bit disk received and worked fine, despite other reviews. I install Windows 10 ALL the time. Thought I’d try a reduced price version. It looked just like the original.
Easy to navigate, and relatively user friendly. Having been a Mac user for over a decade, I was expecting a steep learning curve to going back to windows from OSX. Its windows….Better than previous versions still not the best, and costs a ton. Find the best price they are all the same as long as its legit. I bought this. All was well.
