As far as the product itself, I did play with Windows 10 a little, though, and it looks great so far. This is the third version of windows 10 that i have bought since it came out. Install was quick and easy did not have to do to many updates. Last version was windows 10 pro. As soon as I got this product in the mail I tried to install it on my new pc.

Very quick delivery so can’t fault that, and packed well, however the actual USB was broken when the box was opened, so has been returned. But the copy i’ve received was apparently already being used according to the microsoft tech. Windows 10 for some reason does like allow my PC to shut down properly. Ill shut the PC down and the monitor goes black but the PC is still running. Apparently, this is a known issue and you can Google it on-line. As of now, it does not happen so 4/5.

Pure crap from Microsoft, my once favorite software company makes the worst software out there today. I don’t care I’ll go to Linux before I use this crap. Did not use the disc, just the product key, which was under 2 seals.

I’m still dealing with the video card problem. Either way, I’m rolling back to Win 8.1, and I’d suggest you consider doing the same. I read the reviews and saw a few people commenting β€œDO NOT BUY”, β€œDOES NOT WORK”, etc but it was still rated as high as the others, so I bought it.

But it did not let me open and load. I contacted Microsoft and they told me that there is a part missing from the product. The product key has to be redeem from my email address and link to it. This product does not give me that option. Trying to get a laptop ready for tomorrow and instead of a genuine boxed item AS DESCRIBED I have a frikkin letter from some guy somewhere reselling codes. Windows 8.1 operating system is based on the successful version of Windows 8, but in addition adds another major innovations that make your work and play more comfortable.

Works better than the free version, and you don’t have to go back online to re-hunt the program. I don’t think the Windows program is gonna be free for long any way. So I bought a copy just in case. I’ve had this installed on my brand new state of the art PC for about a month now and haven’t had ONE single issue.

A bit of a pain to setup, but after it’s running, it’s not too bad. Best version of Windows, can’t wait to see how it evolves with future updates. It comes with all sorts of stuff that slows down your computer to a plump. Not to mention if you like your privacy, don’t bother with windows 10 because you will not have any. I am downgrading or switching to linux by the way this is going.

Win 8.1 pro is a bit different as win 7. I switch from that and for example the tiles replaced the start menu are a bit strange at first, but easy to get used to it. It`s fast. Good working windows.
