Putting windows 10 on your machine is like shooting yourself in the foot. If you are thinking of upgrading your older friends computer that barely has a grasp of Windows 7 you will be doing them a GREAT disservice. I didn’t realize it was OEM, Whoops! And it’s too late to return it now.I found OEM windows 10 software for under $30. This cost me as much as the retail version. My computer crashed. I had the infamous blue screen of death.
I don’t understand why people are giving this so many hate. All you have to do is a clean install. And do NOT use express settings. Using that only downloads a bunch of stuff you don’t really want. I bought this. All was well. But I do not like Windows 10…wish I had stayed with window 7. W7 is so much easier to work with when trying to figure what you want to do. All of my friends who switched to W10 say the same. Received quick, Win 10 was install on a new built computer. So installation was quick and easy.

I also told him I was a long term Microsoft customer with an xbox live subscription going back 7 years. He said it didn’t matter. There was nothing he was willing to do.

I re-installed windows 10. Put the code simple as that. All you need is a USB and download windows 10 installation from Microsoft’s website onto the USB.
Gone are the glory days, when Microsoft had a superior product. Windows XP, or Windows 7 were much more stable versions of their OS. I think that Microsoft is used to being #1 a little too much. They release unfinished, buggy, crap, because they figure they can just fix it later, in one of their many mandatory updates, but this OS is broken. It is crap, and they know it.
If you were a fan of either of those products, you will like this as it adds feature without taking away usability. There are always minior bugs, but thats Microsoft for ya. Windows 10 is Windows 7 trying to be intuitive. I stick a DVD in my computer I want it to play otherwise I wouldn’t have put in yet Windows 10 wants me to tell it to play. I’m not convince this is a genuine
